Radical Boulder Opal in Unique Nature Inspired Silver Claw Setting

This absolutely stunning boulder opal has been set in a custom sterling silver claw setting.

The setting is designed to look unique and rustic while highlighting the features of the stone.

The beautiful thing about stones, and in particular opal, is that no two are alike. This piece features beautiful flashy purple, blue and green coloured opal. The flashy opalescent is contrasted beautifully with the rich Iron stone matrix.

The opal comes from a very small town named Yowah in the western Queensland desert in Australia. The stone itself has a unique desert feel, after some rain.

This pendant measures: 48 x 22 x 9mm

The pendant comes in a hand woven adjustable brown cord. The length of the cord is adjusted by sliding a small wooden bead.
