Vera Cruz Amethyst Sceptre Pendant with Hand Woven Adjustable Macrame Style Necklace

This stone is wrapped with waxed cotton cord and leather. The stone is a natural Vera Cruz Amethyst Crystal. The crystal is what is known as a sceptre. This means the end where the point is is larger than the base.

The Pendant comes on a hand woven, adjustable, Macrame style cord. The length of the necklace is adjusted by sliding a small wooden bead along the two ends of the cord.

Vera Cruz Amethyst is made distinctive by it's long and even quartz point shape. Amethyst is commonly found with uneven, bell ended points so this shape of the Vera Cruz amethyst is quite special. It comes from the Vera Cruz region of Mexico, hence it's name.
